The King in Green
The eastern gate, one of four major gates to the city of Grun is the closest gate to the Dockyard district. It is always crowded with incoming and outgoing freight and citizens; often stopped due to customs inspections. Despite the heavy militia presence in the area, it is a hotbed of pickpockets, hucksters, and snake-oil salesman looking to make a crown or three from the unsuspecting.
The gate is closed after sunset. A lively shanty-town; similar in economic and architectural prospects to the Court of Flowers, has grown up before it serving those unlucky enough to be caught outside of the walls. Despite being outside of the city walls, the militia often patrol the impoverished neighborhood, which is always growing and full of undesirables — space inside the city walls is at a premium.
